Print Quality

Images in the website galleries are processed at low resolutions to guarantee compatibility with most computer monitors, smart phones, and tablets. The file sizes are kept small intentionally to improve the time required to load a page. The typical file size for gallery images is less than 700 KB.

Images used for fine art prints, on the other hand, are processed at very high resolutions of 300 ppi or higher, with an image width approaching 8700 pixels and an image height approaching 5800 pixels. The typical file size for print images frequently exceeds 30 - 40 MB. While the images on the screen are pleasing, the corresponding printed images are stunning, with vibrant colors and vivid detail.

Copyright watermarks are removed from the fine art prints. Signed copies are available, if requested.

High quality digital images as well as several prints sizes are available. If you're not sure which print option best meets your needs, please contact me and we'll work through it together.
